

If you move andno longer use electricity supplied by Rocky Mountain Power,we will apply the deposit and interest to your closing bill andrefund any remaining amount.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER NET PAY PLUS
The deposit youpay, plus interest, may be returned to you after you have paidyour bill on time for 12 consecutive months. You have the right to payservice deposits in at least three equal installments, providedthe first installment is paid at the time you apply. The amountof the service deposit will be based on the estimated average ofa two month billing at the residence. Payments received from HEAT,American Red Cross or similar programs will be applied onlyto the electric service bill and not a service deposit. Securitydeposits will not be collected during certain times if you (1) aregranted relief from disconnection during the winter months,(2) qualify for assistance under the HEAT program, unless youhave obtained service by theft. A ”third party” guarantee from a currentcustomer who has not received a notice of disconnection duringthe last year will be accepted in place of a deposit. If you havebeen connected less than one year, you may be required tomake a security deposit if you receive a notice of disconnectionfor nonpayment. Provide notice to Rocky Mountain Power if you are makingany significant change that may affect the electrical characterof your load affecting you or others.DepositsWhen you apply for service you will not be required to makea security deposit unless you are unable to provide requiredidentification and credit information, have an unpaid andoverdue account or have given false information.Allow safe, unobstructed access to your property formeter reading, tree pruning and other essentialRocky Mountain Power personnel and equipment.Notify Rocky Mountain Power about stopping service inyour name or about stopping service altogether.Notify Rocky Mountain Power when you are moving toanother residence.Contact Rocky Mountain Power when you anticipatea payment problem to try to set up a payment plan.Notify Rocky Mountain Power about billing orother errors.Contact Rocky Mountain Power when you have a problemwith payment, service, safety, billing or customer service.
